Inspired by golden tree sap, and taking inspiration from the dappled sunlight through the canopy of leaves, Atelier W derived their palette and architectural concepts.

Approached by the client, Atelier W was asked to develop 150 units of an apartment complex, maximising the allowed use of the site. Tasked with a complex and full brief, Atelier W was mindful not to create another typical Perth style development whilst still fulfilling the client’s brief. The result was a building mass with softened corners and a light second skin that gives the whole building a light and lantern-like feeling that belies its mass.
